Transforming Lives Through Education
The El Cantare Foundation’s scholarship program improves students’ understanding and English writing skills in Uganda. Through our scholar essay initiative, we incorporate moral education into scholar study, supporting character development and academic progress.
We thank you for volunteering adults. Alongside caring academic professionals, many mothers and guardians actively participate in study sessions, helping foster a culture of learning within communities. We also provide English dictionaries to children to encourage their education. We started by supporting single mothers through poultry farming and expanded into educational assistance for their children.
These holistic efforts have received national recognition, including coverage on Ugandan UBC television on August 11, 2025, and are broadly acknowledged for their positive impact on the community.
13000 km across the oceans
On June 21, we connected a Zoom class between the United States, New Jersey, and Uganda. Connecting with Kids International School was a great pleasure for us in Uganda. Meeting new friends far apart, 13000 km across the oceans, was a great learning moment.
Victory school students are grateful for the Zoom meeting connection.
